My makeup workforce

No, seriously. My makeup works harder than I do. It took me a long time to find products that I actually LOVED. Why? Because they last. I'm not reapplying my makeup all day. My lips and skin have improved. And, the products are versatile.

Without any further adieu, I'd like to introduce you to my squad.

First up: Climate Control

This gem right here is great for acne, scarring, eczema, rosacea, sun burns. I use 3 pumps every day before applying my makeup. Plus, it smells ridiculously good.

(P.S. Our cats love the smell of it too.)

Next: MakeSense Advanced Anti-Aging Foundation (Almond)

Finally, a foundation that doesn't dry out my skin. I feel like I've gotten around A LOT with foundation. From, Origins, to Clinque, Estee Lauder, Tarte, Bobbi Brown, Mac, and lots of other drugstore brands. But not only that, this baby is waterproof! As a wedding photographer, it's nice that this makeup doesn't smear down my face in an hour. I don't have to reapply my lipstick and I don't have to worry when it rains. I recently took a video in the shower. No need to get excited. It was just my face. Even with my face right under the water, my makeup doesn't budge. It's insane!

Next: Corrective Color Concealer (Natural)

To be honest, I've never really used concealer. But since I've started playing with makeup and learning stuff I didn't have a clue about, I'm really digging the concealer. Not to mention, I'VE GOT ADULT ACNE, yo.

Next: ShadowSense (Copper Rose Shimmer, Garnet, Sandstone Pearl Shimmer, Onyx)

Holy sh!t. This whole addiction started with the LipSense, but since I've discovered the ShadowSense, well, it's a whole new ball game. These bad boys blend so beautifully! The colors are rich and highly pigmented, so a little goes a long way. I repeat. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! They are waterproof and extremely long lasting. Know what else is super duper great about ShadowSense? It doesn't get all up in your creases! Now that I'm 33, I know a little bit about creases around the eyes.

Wait. I didn't even mention the best part. You can use this product all over your face. It's borderline ridiculous how versatile ShadowSense is. I not only use this for eyeshadow, but I use it to contour and highlight my face, for blush, eye liner, brow filler, lip color, concealer, yadda yadda yadda. How crazy is that?! Not only does this make it easy, but it's also easy on your purse. Bingo! Beauty saving product!

(I use Garnet or Moca Java to contour, Sandstone Pearl Shimmer to highlight, Garnet and Onyx to my eyes, and Garnet as my brow filler.)

Next: LashSense (Black)

This is a richly pigmented mascara and it is also waterproof. Took me a few days to end up loving this product, but from my experience with LipSense, I knew that I just needed time to adjust. Now, I'm all on board for this mascara.

Next: LipSense (Bella + Glossy Gloss)

Ok, so like I said, it all started with the LipSense. I could not believe that there was a lipstick that would not come off AT ALL, even if I tried rubbing it. This stuff is AMAZING. The colors are beautiful and there is literally a shade for everyone. Bella happens to be my go to color. It's a matte with just the perfect amount of a mauve nude. This also happens to be one of the most popular colors, and I can understand why. Since using LipSense, I kid you not, my lips have actually improved immensely! I have always been a-d-d-i-c-t-e-d to chapstick, and by a-d-d-i-c-t-e-d, I mean, I had a chapstick next to my bed, in my purse, my desk, the bathroom, the car, and my coat pocket. It was out of control. My chapstick of choice was Burt's Bees. I was lost without it. And funny story. My best friend and I went on a cruise when we were 18. She got so irritated with me constantly looking for my chapstick, that she threw it overboard. I saw red. (This story ends well. We are still best friends to this day.) Anyway... I've been chapstick free for about three months now. I couldn't be happier.
